The ATC Handheld Honey Sugar Brix Refractometer Saccharometer Measuring 0-32% is designed for measuring the concentration of sugar solutions and other non-sugar solutions. It is widely applied in measuring soybean milk concentration, sugar manufacturing, food and beverage. Besides, it is also suitable for measuring the concentration of many other sauce products or fruits, such as soybean sauce, ketchup, jam, honey and so on. From fruit planting to sale, it can help to determine the appropriate harvest period and contribute to classifying the sweetness degree. As for other functions, it can be used to control the concentration of various industrial solution.
How to use? (Instructions)
1. Open the cover and carefully wipe the prism with a soft cloth.
2. Take a few drops of the solution to be measured, placed on the detection prism, gently close the cover, to avoid the bubble generated, so that the solution around the prism surface.
3. The instrument into the light board, at the light or bright place, the eyes through the eyepiece to observe the field of view.
4. Turn the eyepiece to adjust the handwheel to make the blue and white line of sight clear. The scale value of the dividing line is the concentration of the solution.
Precautions:
Do not allow liquids and water to enter the adjustment knob and eyepiece, as this may damage the internal components.
Do not drop or collide to avoid damaging the accuracy of the instrument.
