CBB61 capacitors are made of high temperature resistant PVC wire with high stability and fixed mounting holes, generally used in fans, ceiling fans, hoods, heaters and other electrical appliances.

General experience without knowing the size of the capacitor (not necessarily accurate):
16-inch fan: 1.5uF
15.8~18.4 inch fan: 1.2uF
10.5~13.1 inch fan: 1uF
Ceiling fan: 2.2uF~3uF
Range hood: 4uF
Small table fan, wall fan: 1.5uF
The capacitor capacity is large, and the fan speed will be a little faster.

Wiring method of CBB capacitor:

1. Use a multimeter to measure the resistance of any 2 of the 3 conductors to find the maximum resistance standard AC

2. Connect the capacitor to alternating current

3. Find the two lines with the lowest resistance (AB or BC) and connect them to the power supply.

Wiring method of electric fan motor:

Fan motors usually have three and five wires. The five wires are black, red, yellow, white and blue. This five-wire fan motor is usually a three-gear speed motor. A three-wire fan motor usually connects the red wire to the power line L, which is then connected to the governor, the black wire to the power neutral line N, the third wire to one end of the fan starter capacitor, and the other end to the fan starter capacitor. Start the capacitor by connecting the power cord to the fire cord.

Note: The fan is bad, not necessarily a CBB61 capacitor problem.
It is likely that the motor is bad, if you replace the new capacitor or does not turn, please see.
Cause of Failure Repair Solution;
Capacitor drum service / burst Replace the capacitor;
Capacitors have a certain service life, used for a long time the capacity is reduced;
